Preheat oven to 350ยบ. Generously grease each cup of a 12-cup muffin pan with softened butter; set aside.
In a medium bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, salt, and baking soda. Using a pastry blender or fork, cut cold butter into flour mixture until crumbly. Add milk and sour cream; stir to mix well. Spoon batter into each muffin cup, filling three-fourths full. Bake for 30 minutes, or until rolls are golden brown.
