Buttercream
 
Makes about 6½ cups
Ingredients
  • 1½ cups butter, softened
  • 8 cups confectioners’ sugar
  • ½ cup heavy whipping cream
Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, beat butter with a mixer at medium speed until creamy. Gradually add confectioners’ sugar, beating until combined. Add cream, beating until smooth.
