For crust: In a large bowl, stir together crushed vanilla wafers, nuts, and brown sugar. Add melted butter, stirring to combine. Press mixture into bottom and up sides of a 9-inch pie plate.
For filling: In a large bowl, whisk together condensed milk, eggs, and egg yolks until smooth. Add lime juice, whisking until combined. Whisk in sour cream. Pour mixture into prepared crust.
Bake until center is set, 25 to 30 minutes. Let cool completely at room temperature. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving. Garnish with whipped cream, coconut, macadamia nuts, and lime slices, if desired.
