Orange Flower Lollipops

Ingredients
  • Lollipop sticks
  • Assortment of edible dried flowers*
  • ½ cup light corn syrup
  • ⅓ cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon orange extract
Instructions
  1. Place lollipop sticks into desired small silicone molds. Arrange 2 to 3 dried flowers into each mold.
  2. In a small saucepan, combine corn syrup and sugar over medium-high heat, gently stirring until sugar dissolves. Once mixture begins to boil, stop stirring. Boil until a candy thermometer registers 300 ĚŠ. Remove from heat and stir in extract. Let cool until most bubbles have dissipated. Pour into mold over flowers, using a toothpick to rearrange flowers if necessary. Let cool at room temperature until candy is set, about 30 minutes to 1 hour.

*We used elderflower, violet, lavender, and peach blossoms.
