In a large Dutch oven, stir together cider, juice, and remaining 6 ingredients. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Strain mixture; discard any solids. Divide evenly between mugs. Garnish with apple and orange, if desired.
