In a small saucepan, bring cranberries, liqueur, orange zest and juice, brown sugar, and salt to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook, stirring occasionally, until cranberries burst and sauce has thickened, 15 to 20 minutes. Garnish with orange, if desired.
