8 of Our Favorite Entertaining Touches for Spring

7 of Our Favorite Entertaining Touches for SpringAs the sun’s warmth coaxes flora and fauna to life, we pay tribute to the joyful rite of spring with eight entertaining touches to create a welcoming setting.

1. Fruitful Vase

A pomegranate holds a bouquet of sweetheart roses—just take off the top and scoop a bit from the middle to make room.

2. Heaven Scent

A hint of herbal fragrance wafts from these pretty place cards. Just punch a hole in a corner and tuck in a small sprig of lavender.

 3. By the Sea

Paint cockle shell halves white, glue them together (leave a slight space), and attach to a wooden craft disk for buffet tags or place card holders.

4. Simply Chic

Cheerful tags elevate this casual silverware holder. Use spray adhesive to affix floral fabric to card stock, and center images of vintage utensils on each tag.

5. Blooming Buds

Our linen rosebud begins with a napkin folded in half to form a triangle. Starting with the long edge, fold down 2 inches and continue folding at that width until you reach the point of the triangle. Curl the napkin “bud” and secure with a pearl-point pin.

6. Nature’s Sweetness

Egg-shaped candies nestled in decorative moss display each guest’s name with a banner attached to a tiny twig using double-sided tape.

7. Tucked In

For a crisp look that enhances any party theme, fold a napkin into diagonal pockets to hold your silver pieces.

8. Shades of Springtime
Dye an assortment of eggs with soft pastel shades as a symbol of universal renewal. Celebrate the season by fashioning a nest out of raffia and filling it with the multihued eggs to place upon a cake stand or pedestal.
