Alabama designer Cindy Barganier knew just what to do for long-time clients who own this 1931 neoclassical residence. She kept it simple with evergreens and red ribbons, letting the stunning facade shine through.
Cindy took advantage of the dwelling’s grand entryway and produced a stunningly festive welcome. She developed the unexpected color scheme from the interior’s year-round palette, including blush and blue. “I am not a big red-and-green girl unless it is a mountain cabin setting,” she says.
The owners’ vast collection of angels, scattered around the house, reminds all of the reason for the season. In an equally lovely display, a table filled with delectable baked goods from FPH Bakery in Union Springs, Alabama, sweetens the scene. Scents of the cakes and cookies mix with fragrances of hot apple cider, fresh greens, and wood burning fires. “It really is the ultimate Christmas experience,” says Cindy.
