Leslie Harris, owner of The Southern Nest, draws on her passion for interior decorating to help others exude Southern style. After years of raising her kids, Leslie decided to pursue her love of design and the comforts of home instead of returning to work as a nurse. Her charming retail emporium in Indian Land, South Carolina, presents a distinguished mix of gifts, apparel, and home décor—from furniture and fabric to artwork and lighting. “I’ve heard so many customers call the store their ‘happy place,'” Leslie says. “And that’s our goal—to deliver a delightful experience to everyone, every time.”
