6. Peter’s Pottery
A quick jaunt through Cleveland will bring you to Mound Bayou, home to Peter’s Pottery, started in 1998 by four brothers. Now a thriving business, their one-of-a-kind pieces are made from red clay, otherwise known as ‘Mississippi Mud.’ From creative animal sculptures to whimsical yet functional vases and bowls, Peter’s Pottery is made by hand with an emphasis on detail.
