Springtime Dinner on the Porch

Arrange for an intimate springtime dinner on the porch with a front-row view of Mother Nature’s magnificent verdure.

Mealtime in the company of a few close friends is even sweeter amid the invigorating air of spring. Garner inspiration from the lush flora all around for a color scheme of green, purple, and off-white. A gold-rimmed place setting festooned with swirling leaves befits the garden ambience, while the chargers’ amethyst brushstrokes complement berry-hued napkins and fuchsia flowers.

Brimming with parrot tulips, fern fronds, star of Bethlehem, and delphinium, a mint-green pitcher ties together the charming scene. Oak flatware and wooden napkin rings keep the overall look natural and easygoing, as clear glass tumblers etched with a prism motif reflect the final rays of lingering sunshine.
Artful wrought-iron chairs lend a feminine sensibility to the brick patio, and mismatched throw pillows are a welcome comfort for those gathered to relish Dry-Brined Chicken with Herbs, Bacon Almond Asparagus, Orange Honey Glazed Rainbow Carrots, Potato Salad with English Peas, and a Strawberries and Cream Tart kissed with lemon and mint.
