This refreshing White Peach Sangria is perfect for a spring day.
White Peach Sangria
Makes 4 to 6 Servings
Ingredients
- 1 (750-ml) bottle white wine
- 2 cups white cranberry–peach juice
- 1 cup Peach Basil Syrup (recipe follows)
- 3 ounces brandy
- 2 cups peach-flavored sparkling water
- Garnish: white peach slices, fresh basil
Instructions
- In a pitcher, combine wine, juice, Peach-Basil Syrup, and brandy. Chill until ready to serve. Serve over ice. Top with sparkling water. Garnish with white peach slices and basil, if desired.
Peach Basil Syrup
Makes 1 Cup
Ingredients
- 2 white peaches, pitted and sliced
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- ¼ cup basil
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine peaches, 1 cup water, sugar, lemon juice, and basil. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Let cool completely. Strain mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into an airtight container; discard solids.
