Orange liqueur adds a zesty tang to classic cranberry dressing, a shareable holiday favorite.

Cranberries with Orange Liqueur
 
Makes 8-10 servings
Ingredients
  • 4 cups fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 1 cup orange-flavored liqueur*
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • ½ cup fresh orange juice
  • ½ cup packed light brown sugar
  • ⅛ teaspoon kosher salt
  • Garnish: orange zest
Instructions
  1. In a small saucepan, bring cranberries, liqueur, orange zest and juice, brown sugar, and salt to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook, stirring occasionally, until cranberries burst and sauce has thickened, 15 to 20 minutes. Garnish with orange, if desired.
