White Peach Sangria

White Peach Sangria
 
Makes 4 to 6 Servings
Ingredients
  • 1 (750-ml) bottle white wine
  • 2 cups white cranberry–peach juice
  • 1 cup Peach Basil Syrup (recipe follows)
  • 3 ounces brandy
  • 2 cups peach-flavored sparkling water
  • Garnish: white peach slices, fresh basil
Instructions
  1. In a pitcher, combine wine, juice, Peach-Basil Syrup, and brandy. Chill until ready to serve. Serve over ice. Top with sparkling water. Garnish with white peach slices and basil, if desired.

Peach Basil Syrup
 
Makes 1 Cup
Ingredients
  • 2 white peaches, pitted and sliced
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • ¼ cup basil
Instructions
  1. In a medium saucepan, combine peaches, 1 cup water, sugar, lemon juice, and basil. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Let cool completely. Strain mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into an airtight container; discard solids.
